Blog #3 Critical Review.

In my opinion, The Great Gatsby is one of the best classic novels. The book is a clever tale about a rich man, named Jay Gatsby, who enjoys surrounding himself with people who relish in his wealth. The main theme of the book is ttaking in the 20s about the American idealism and immaterial nature has been corrupted by wealth. The novel is a broken hearted love triangle, Daisy Buchanan is married to treacherous Tom, and Gatsby is caught falling for Daisy, and all the drama unravels before Nick Carraway's eye. I found myself wanting to read more and more every night but found that lights had to be out at 12, so i would crawl under my blankets with a booklight just to finish up the chapter. The story is riveting and one of the great classics of twentieth-century literature.
